STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE —

The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).

That there is one true God, who revealed himself as the eternally self-existent ” I Am” in three persons: God the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43: 10-11; Matthew 28:19)

That in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31,35); in His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22); in His miracles (Acts 2:22; 10:38); in His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21); in His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Corinthians:4); in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Acts 1:9, 11; 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3); in His personal, future return to the earth in Power and Glory to rule for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4).

In the Blessed Hope, the soon return of Christ to receive His bride at His coming (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17; Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51,52).

In the fall and sinfulness of man and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the blood of Christ (John 14:6).

Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential to personal salvation (Titus 3:5).>

In Divine Healing of the human body provided through the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross in answer to believing prayer (1 Peter 2:24).

The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus declaring to the world that they have died and been raised with Christ to walk in newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-5).

The Church of Jesus Christ is the universal, spiritual body of believers from every tribe, tongue, kindred and race of peoples, and is indwelt by God through the Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfill the Great Commission on earth (Ephesians 1:20-23; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Colossians 1:18-19; Revelation 5:9).

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galations 5:16-25).

In the resurrection and final judgment of both the saved and the lost, the first to everlasting life and the second to everlasting damnation (Revelation 20:11-15).

In the new heavens and the new earth and the holy Jerusalem, the city of God, descending out of heaven and filled with God’s glory (Revelation 21:1-2, 10).
